The American Culinary Federation (ACF) holds several major events
annually, offering attendees a delectable menu of professional and
personal development, industry networking, vendor resourcing and much
more. Paired with awards ceremonies, chefs' dinners and culinary competitions,
ACF's annual events promise to satisfy even the largest of appetites.
ACF National
Convention & Trade Show offers a taste of culinary competitions
and hundreds of foodservice products, and is an excellent opportunity
for networking and business-building. With more than 2,100 attendees
each year, it is one of the largest gathering of culinarians in
the foodservice industry.
Regional Conferences
are held annually in each of ACF's regions--Central, Northeast,
Southeast and Western. Each Regional Conference offers professional
development and networking opportunities while infusing flavors
native to the area. (2008 Recap - 2009 Schedule)
Competitions
continually raise the standards of culinary excellence and professionalism
while promoting camaraderie and educational opportunities among
chefs. Competitions inspire, recognize and reward participants and
are a means of earning ACF
Certification points.
Awards are presented
to ACF members, top industry professionals, and students through
the Annual Awards & Recognition Program. These awards represent
the highest honors ACF can bestow upon an individual.
