McCormick For Chefs™ Joins ACF Culinary
Team USA as Silver Sponsor

2011—The American Culinary Federation (ACF) is pleased to
announce that Hunt Valley, Md.-based McCormick For Chefs™ is the
latest organization to pledge its support to ACF Culinary Team USA, the
official representative for the United States in major international
culinary competitions. McCormick For Chefs signed on as a silver-level
sponsor in December 2010.

ACF Culinary Team USA is a top contender on the world culinary stage.
The national team placed third overall and won two gold medals at the
2010 Culinary World Cup. The military team placed sixth overall and won
gold and bronze medals. The 1960 team captured the first world
championship at the IKA and repeated the distinction in 1980, 1984 and
1988 by winning the hot-food competition all three times and
establishing a new world record for the most consecutive gold-medal
wins. The team took home the gold medal in hot-food cooking in 2004.
Since 1998, all ACF Culinary Team USA teams—national, regional,
pastry and student—have won 35 gold and 12 silver medals.
Additionally, the team took home two gold medals at the Salon Culinaire
