Mark Wright, CEC, AAC

Wright is a culinary educator at Erie Community College in Buffalo, N.Y., and executive chef at Crag Burn Golf Club in East Aurora, N.Y. An active member in ACF for more than 30 years, he most recently served on the national board as treasurer. Wright has been active in the ACF of Greater Buffalo New York chapter as president, treasurer, sergeant-at-arms and chairman.

Wright's goal is to ensure the work and efforts begun by the current board are continued. He strives to improve and continue the many programs that can be beneficial to members' careers.

"I will work with the new treasurer and president closely, working to monitor our finances and fund our programs. I will make sure that the chapters, members and the Northeastern Region are well represented on all matters concerning each and every one of you."

His management style is to listen to everyone, and he believes each member has something important to offer. Planning is an integral component in his management style. Wright knows that constant evaluation of a plan, and improving it where needed, is also a necessary step for management.
