Chef of the Year
The Chef of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding culinarian who
works and cooks in a full service dining facility. This person has
demonstrated the highest standard of culinary skills, advanced the
cuisine of America, and given back to the profession through the
development of students and apprentices. (Sold)
Pastry Chef of the Year
Introduced in 2004, four regional candidates vie for the national
title and a cash prize by creating an array of contemporary desserts and

Student Culinarian of the Year
The Student Culinarian of the Year Award is the highest honor a
student competitor can achieve. It recognizes the knowledge and skills

Professionalism
The Chef Professionalism Award is presented to the chef who
exemplifies the highest standard of professionalism through
certification, continuing education and training, culinary competitions

Chef Educator of the Year
The Chef Educator of the Year Award is a time-honored award that
includes a competition lecture/cook-off to select the winner. Sponsoring
this event will convey to the foodservice community your strong support

Hermann G. Rusch Chef's
Achievement
The Hermann G. Rusch Chef's Achievement Award goes to the chef who
embodies a lifetime of contributions to professional cooking. The late
Hermann G. Rusch was the founder of the first formal culinary apprentice
training program in the United States. (Title sponsor: $30,000; Tiered

The Baron H. Galand Culinary
Knowledge Bowl
A perennial favorite, the Baron H. Galand Culinary Knowledge Bowl
pits teams of students from around the country against one another in a
round-robin format that poses culinary-related answers "Jeopardy" style.
Excitement mounts as the competition travels from regional conferences

Customized Culinary
Competitions
Create menu development opportunities using your product(s) in a live
cooking format. Cash prizes and ACF medals are awarded to enthusiastic
