Meet the Chef
Chef Jack J. Delby has more than 20 years experience in the culinary
industry, and has been honing his skills for the past 15 with Marriott
International Corporation. Currently working as the Executive Chef at
the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel, he has won many prestigious awards
including the "Award of Culinary Excellence" in 1999 from Marriott
hotels, and the same in 2006 from Renaissance hotels.
Chef Delby has been an active member of ACF since 1994 and has held
many board positions with the ACF Chicago Chefs of Cuisine. He has
hosted a number of "Chef of the Year," American Academy of Chefs and
Escoffier Dinners, and was awarded the honor of chapter "Chef of the
Year" by the ACF Chicago Chefs of Cuisine in 2000.
Chef Delby and The Schaumberg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center
culinary team are looking forward to hosting the ACF Central Regional
Conference and Academy of Chefs Dinner this February.
