ACFEF Culinary Skills Fundamentals Program

The Culinary Skills Fundamentals Program is a 1,000 hour (6 months or longer) educational and hands-on training program that includes 30 hours of sanitation. This program teaches apprentices the basic skills needed to begin a culinary career. Upon graduation apprentices will receive a certificate upon completion and a sanitation certificate.

This program is basic culinary skills training program where apprentices work under the supervision an ACF certified chef. Apprentices complete 1,000 following the ACFEF Training logbook that outlines the following areas:

Sanitation and Safety
Tools and Equipment
Knife Skills
Cold Kitchen - Pantry
Hot Kitchen

Fees

Program Application Fee: $100.00
Registration Fee for Apprentices: $50.00
