Culinary Scholarships

The American Academy of Chefs (AAC), the honor society of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), offers educational scholarships to high school students, college students, professional chefs looking to further their education or become certified and student culinary teams currently competing at ACF Regional and National conferences.

How to Apply

Review scholarship application for eligibility and application procedures. Applications must be submitted with all supporting documentation by the deadline listed on the application. Only complete applications will be considered by the AAC Scholarship Committee. Applications may be e-mailed to academy@acfchefs.net or mailed to:

Scholarship Applications for Specific Schools

• The Chef’s Academy (Deadline: April 30)
• Culinary Institute of America (Deadline: May 1)
• Johnson & Wales University (Deadline: December 1)

Culinary Student Team Grants

Student teams that have already won their state competition and are registered for the regional competition can apply for a grant offered by the AAC. Deadline: 10 business days prior to regional competition.
